First Time Visit FAQ:

Should I fill out my waiver in advance? Do I need a new waiver every visit?

Get those waivers done in advance! The quickest way to get in and moving is to complete your waiver forms in advance for both Play: CLE and Play: CBUS.

The waiver is simple to do from your computer, tablet, or phone before you step through our doors. All waivers expire after one year. Each waiver must be filled out by a parent or legal guardian for participants under the age of 18.

Please note: each location requires its own waiver

Are Spectators free?

There is no charge for spectators at Play: CLE and Play: CBUS.

Spectators are more than welcome to walk around. We have seating throughout the facility as well as in our bar + restaurant.

Are there age requirements?

Play: is an all ages facility and we ask that any young children are properly supervised by a parent or guardian.

Play: CLE: There is no set age requirement, however, our activities are geared towards children ages 6 and up.

Play: CBUS: We have activities and obstacles for ages 2+ including a kid’s ropes course for guests under 4’6″ and a soft obstacle area for ages 2-5.

Are there height requirements?

There is no set height requirement. Guests 4’6″ and taller should comfortably be able to utilize all activities. Guests under 4’6″ may be unable to utilize the ropes course.

Our staff will confirm height at time of check-in.

Are there are weight requirements?

There is no minimum weight requirement to participate in unharnessed activities.

Climbing and ropes course activities have a minimum weight requirement of 30 pounds.

The zip line has a minimum weight requirement of 45 pounds.

All activities have a maximum weight of 300 pounds.

Do you have any Clothing and/or Shoes requirements?

All participants must wear closed-toe athletic shoes. No boots or sandals. We recommend comfortable, athletic clothing. We do not recommend wearing skirts or dresses.

Admission FAQ:

Do spectators have to pay an entrance fee?
No, SPECTATING IS FREE. All spectators are free to walk around the facility and we have seating throughout the facility as well as in our bar + restaurant.
Do you require reservations?

We recommend completing your waiver and ticket purchase in advance to speed up the check-in process, but do not require advanced ticket purchases.

Walk-in’s are welcome at any time.

It is extremely rare for our facilities to meet capacity limits.

Can I buy tickets online?

Yes, for both locations you may purchase tickets prior to arriving.

Please note: currently, we cannot accept gift cards as a payment option online. Gift card purchases can be redeemed in-store only.

Is Play: open to the public every day?

Please check our location pages or social media for the most up-to-date information on hours.

We are typically closed on Monday’s, but available for private events any time.

Are there group discounts available?

Groups of 4 or more will receive a group discount when purchased in-store only.

Larger groups can be in touch with our Events Team for additional assistance and coordination of their visit.

Can I buy a membership?

Absolutely! We offer individual and group memberships with excellent benefits including food + beverage, party, and member guest discounts.

Can I buy an admission ticket for less time?

Play: moved away from a time-based ticket price.

We want to encourage guests to be free of any time limits and make the most of their visit with us!

Please note: we reserve the right to limit times due to capacity limitations. These instances are extremely rare and are to ensure the safety of all guests.

Food + Drink FAQ:

I heard the food is REALLY good?!

We sure think so! One of the most common things we hear is how surprised guests are at the quality of the food!

We aren’t a concession stand with slushies and hot dogs.

Our menu is crafted for ALL guests in mind and has great options to share with your whole group.

Can we bring in our own food?

We are like any other restaurant and can not allow outside food + beverages.

Exceptions for cakes can be made for pre-booked events only.

Does your restaurant serve alcohol?

Yes! We have a full-selection of beer, wine, and spirits.

Our bar often highlights local craft breweries and each location has cool, rotating cocktail menus.

Do you offer gluten free and vegetarian options?

Yes! We have several food and beverage options that are gluten free, as well as vegetarian options on our menu.

 

Parties + Events FAQ:

What kinds of events can you host?

Try us! Parties + Events are one of the hallmarks of our business because we love bringing people together.

We’ve hosted everything from After-Proms, Birthday Parties, Bachelor(ette) Parties, Sports Awards, Scouts Groups, Corporate Outings, Team Building Activities, and much more!

I want to plan an event! Where do I start?

We offer several packaged parties that can be purchased from our website at your convenience.

For any custom request, contact our events team. Our events staff will work with you to plan the perfect event.

Can we request any special add ons?

Your event is only limited by your imagination! We have had groups bring in DJs, Live Music, Food Trucks, Inflatable Bounce Houses, Silent Auctions, Raffles, Pop-Up Shops, and SO much more!

Do you have custom food and beverage packages for private events?

Yes! We have a great made-from-scratch kitchen, and work with multiple local vendors and distributors, and have a full bar. We have made custom food menus, drink menus, cocktails, and brought in special requested wines, spirits, and beer for events!

Do you offer any team-building or group activities?

We are the ideal spot to host a corporate or team building outing.

Each of our activities were created to promote a fun and challenging environment for groups.

We can create specific team building activities that align with your group’s goal.

Can you help with fundraisers and non-profit events?

Yes! We have a few different ways to help groups host fundraising events with Play: including hosting a private event, admission tickets, or a full-facility event where a portion of the sales go to your non-profit or organization.
